HIPPA & OSHA PRIVACY PRACTICES 

Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996

According to (HIPPA) patient personal information can be given without a patient consent if the law requires us to do so. Our staff takes the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPPA) regulations very serious. Patients have certain rights guaranteed by federal law, such as the right to get a copy of their medical records, and the right to keep them private. Many states have additional laws protecting patients, and healthcare facilities often have a patient bill of rights. At JPROLABS2GO,LLC we do not have the legal right to disclose any personal information to anyone about the patient lab test oredrs. At JPROLABS2GO,LLC we do understand how civil and criminal penalties can arise if we violate HIPPA patient privacy rights. A patient health information cannot be used for purposes that is not related to their care without the patient permission. The patient has the right to find out how  their personal information is used. If you the patient feel like your health information privacy rights have been violated you can submit a complaint in writing to

 We require all employees to follow OSHA regulations, that involves blood borne pathogens. At JPROLABS2GO,LLC Phlebotomist are knowledgeable of the proper way of disposing sharp objects into the sharps containers. We require Phlebotomist to wear a face shield when transferring blood into a transfer tube. Each employee is required each year to complete a OSHA training to stay in compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
